Volunteers
FSNCC could not exist without the assistance of the many generous individuals who support us as volunteers. Here are a few of the many ways you can help local families get the help and support they need to provide the special care their children deserve.
- Become a Parent Mentor- Our Parent Mentor Program focuses on providing emotional support to families who have a child with special healthcare needs. Family Support Network follows the researched and endorsed practices of Parent to Parent USA for parent support. If you could help other families by becoming a Parent Mentor, please contact Tabia McKinzie.
- Volunteer for Sibshops- Our Sibshops program provides a fun and supportive environment for children in grades 1-6 with siblings with disabilities. As a volunteer, you'll help create a space where these siblings can share experiences, make friends, and feel understood. If you're passionate about supporting these amazing kids and their families, we’d love to have you join us.
- Volunteer at our Events- From NICU socials or community engagement events, we rely on the time and energy contributions of community partners like YOU! You can help bring our services to families in our area in many ways.
- Serve on a Committee- We are always looking for parents and community members who would like to help us plan our various events and fundraisers throughout the year. There is a place for all skill sets!
