Feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and alone is easy when your child has a disability or special healthcare needs. That's why we offer confidential, parent-led Parent Groups. These groups offer a safe, understanding, and supportive community as you navigate the journey ahead.

Moms Group
The Moms Group is a vibrant community where mothers of children with disabilities or special healthcare needs typically meet socially to connect, share experiences, seek advice, and offer support to one another. Its purpose is to create a supportive environment where moms can find understanding, and resources specific to raising a child with disabilities or special healthcare needs.
Dads Group
The Dads Group provides a supportive space uniquely tailored for fathers of children with disabilities or special healthcare needs. Members discuss fatherhood, share parenting tips, meet socially, and provide mutual support. Joining this group offers dads camaraderie, learning opportunities, tailored resources, and a supportive network of fathers who understand the challenges and joys of parenting children with disabilities.
Black Parents Group
The Black Parents Group provides a supportive environment for Black parents raising children with disabilities or special healthcare needs. It addresses the unique challenges faced by Black families in healthcare and disability support systems. Members engage in discussions about race and disability, share resources, and offer mutual support. Joining this group offers Black parents a culturally affirming space to discuss experiences, find solidarity, access tailored resources, and collaborate for change.
Rare Diagnosis Moms Group
The Rare Diagnosis Moms Group is dedicated to supporting mothers of children with rare diagnoses. It connects moms and provides a platform to share experiences, exchange information, and offer support. Members discuss research, share coping strategies, and connect with professionals. Joining provides a sense of community, access to resources, and a supportive network during challenging times.

We occasionally host or share webinars and training sessions, including topics like navigating healthcare systems, educational rights, caregiver stress management, and parent-mentor training.
