What was the most valuable aspect of FSN while your girls were in NICU?
The FSN staff were so warm and welcoming when Iris and Elouise were born. Their friendliness, knowledge, and positivity made us feel like we had someone in our corner as we navigated a lengthy NICU stay. I will always cherish how our son Max was encouraged as a big brother to his tiny sisters too."
What made you want to get involved with FSN once your girls were discharged from the NICU?
"I met such amazing people along the way, fellow NICU parents and professionals alike. FSN is made of many caring individuals who showed our family kindness during a truly challenging time. I hope to be that friendly face to other parents."
What is your favorite part of being a current NICU Parent Volunteer?
"The babies are so sweet! There can be so much uncertainty in the NICU. It's nice to connect with other parents, offer a listening ear, and share a bit about my twins, who are funny, wise, brave, and the very best of friends these nine years later."
Stephanie's dedication and compassion have been instrumental in supporting FSNCC families. We are so grateful for her continued involvement!
